TDI Sidemount Instructor
The TDI Sidemount Instructor course provides the training required to competently and safely introduce students to the world of technical sidemount diving. The objective of this course is to train instructors to familiarize students with technical sidemount equipment configurations as an alternative to traditional back-mounted configuration.
The TDI Sidemount Instructor course can be combined with other TDI Courses such as Advanced Nitrox Instructor, Decompression Procedures Instructor and Extended Range Instructor.

Prerequisites
- Be a TDI Sidemount diver or equivalent
- Be an active TDI Instructor
- Complete the course with an active TDI Sidemount IT
In order to complete this course, students must:
- Perform all land drills and dive requirements safely and efficiently
- Demonstrate mature, sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution
- Maintain an appropriate level of awareness and respect for the environment
- Log all dives
