TDI CCR Air Diluent Decompression Diver

The next level of your CCR training- TDI CCR Air Diluent Decompression Diver. This 45m rating course is designed to train you in the benefits, hazards and correct procedures of using a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) using air as a bottom gas for decompression. We’ll develop and master the CCR skills needed to successfully dive to 45m using the required techniques for decompression diving.

We’ll cover and master:

  • Set up and maintenance of your unit
  • Bailout procedures
  • Loop volume management
  • Specific buoyancy techniques
  • Unit calibration
  • Emergency procedures
  • O2 monitoring and awareness of CNS

This course is taken over a 5 day period, with 420 minutes of open water traing needed. The CCR Air Diluent Decompression coursewill expand on your knowledge and training presented in the entry level Air Diluent CCR course.


  • 18 years
  • 50 logged Open Water dives
  • Proof of TDI Advanced Nitrox/Deco Procedures or equivalent (PADI Tec 45)
