PADI Rescue Diver

Take the next step and build upon your confidence and experience by taking the PADI Rescue Diver certification!

In this 3 day PADI Rescue Diver course, you’ll build on your existing emergency prevention and management skills. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.

You’ll develop accident prevention and management skills that include self-rescue, assisting a buddy and working within a team during an emergency response. Your training will focus on scenarios in which you adapt rescue techniques to your personal strengths and adjust to the situation.

This is a oneday non diving course and EFR is a prerequisite to the PADi Rescue diver course.

To take this course, you must be:

• 12 years old Note: 12-14 year old divers may earn Junior Rescue Diver certifications
• PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver certification – must have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive
• PADI Open Water Divers may participate in Knowledge Development and Rescue Exercises in confined water
• EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months. Training may be completed along with rescue diver course.
